THEORIES OF LEARNING IN MATHEMATICS - MAMATHEDSST 5-MAMATHEDSST LQ-S-1
The course exposes students to different learning theories (psychological and sociological) to enable them explore theory-driven approaches to improve teaching mathematics. It examines central contemporary theories of learning mathematics, their influence on mathematics instruction and their applications. The students are expected to make an exemplary lesson plan or instructional material applying or using a specific theory of learning.
