Advance Training in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Big Data Analysis

This course provides an advance training in GIS and Big Data Data Analysis. The course provides  participants knowledge and skills necessary to becoming GIS practitioners within their own disciplines. The course also will enhance the research and spatial data management skills of PNU faculty and, eventually, their students. The course will provide guidance to its participants on how to integrate GIS and spatial data analysis into their teaching. In addition, offering the GIS certificate furthers the Philippine Normal University mission of “nurturing innovative teachers and education leaders” for the benefit of the larger community and Philippine society.
