This course explores the various methods for the investigation of appropriate areas in language acquisition/learning with special emphasis on reading and literacy in first and second language contexts. Students identify themes, issues, and strategies in designing classroom research as a demonstration of insights and knowledge gained from the course through the production of a review of literature and studies related to identified priority research topics in language/language teaching/reading.
