Read 701 – Research-Based Diagnosis of Reading Problems
This course discusses basic understanding of reading assessments for and of learners and texts as students are guided in constructing localized/indigenized reading assessment tools administered especially among diverse readers who struggle in interacting with texts. They are expected to validate self-made reading assessment tools in adherence to ethical and principled diagnoses of reading problems.
