MICROBIOLOGY AND PARASITOLOGY - BSCIEBIO 3-III-20 2S-BIO05 (M/TH 07:00AM-11:00AM/07:00AM-11:00AM)
This 4-unit lecture and laboratory course deals with the lecture and laboratory of the important microorganisms and parasites. Lecture, discussion, experimentation and student research will be used in the course. Students enrolled in this course are expected to demonstrate understanding of the physiology and pathogenic properties of bacteria, fungi and viruses as an introduction to causes of diseases, their biology, infections they cause, their modes of transmission, and prevention through experiment, outputs, laboratory reports, case study and portfolio.
