FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS - BME 2-II-17 2S-MATX05 (M/TH 05:00PM-07:00PM/05:00PM-07:00PM)

A lecture-based course that deals with the fundamental Physics concepts that aim to explain how objects interact and move and how energy is transformed and is conserved in several events like collisions, phase changes or in an electric circuit. It is designed to provide learning experience of the concepts of solids and fluids. Furthermore, it is grounded on the application of these concepts in real-life experiences as well as through the use of different mathematical tools and concepts of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, graphical analysis and basic calculus for better scientific understanding.

TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING 1 - BME 2-II-17 2PROFED09 (M/TH 03:00PM-05:00PM/03:00PM-05:00PM)

The course covers principles, theories, and practices on the integration of technology in education. Through lecture demonstration, research, and individual and group activities, the pre-service teachers will be provided with opportunities to utilize appropriate traditional, emerging, and innovative technologies in learning lessons, teaching-learning experiences, and assessment tasks with social, ethical, and legal responsibility. In the end, the pre-service teachers will design, use, and evaluate technology-enhanced lessons and instructional materials.
