TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING 1 - BME 2-II-18 2PROFED09 (M/TH 09:00AM-11:00AM/09:00AM-11:00AM)

The course covers principles, theories and practices on integration of technology in education. Through lecture-demonstration, researches, individual and group activities, the pre-service teachers will be provided opportunities to utilize appropriate traditional, emerging and innovative technologies in learning lessons, teaching-learning experiences and assessment tasks with social, ethical and legal responsibility. In the end, the pre-service teachers will design, use and evaluate technology-enhanced lessons.

FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS - BME 2-II-18 2S-MATX05 (M/TH 11:00AM-01:00PM/11:00AM-01:00PM)

A lecture-based course that deals with the fundamental Physics concepts that aim to explain how objects interact and move and how energy is transformed and is conserved in several events like collisions, phase changes or in an electric circuit. It is designed to provide learning experience of the concepts of solids and fluids. Furthermore, it is grounded on the application of these concepts in real-life experiences as well as through the use of different mathematical tools and concepts of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, graphical analysis and basic calculus for better scientific understanding.
