
BASIC DATABASE DESIGN FOR LIBRARIES AND INFORMATION CENTERS - BLISCI 3-III-27 2S-LIS22 (M/TH 01:00PM-03:00PM/01:00PM-03:00PM)
This course serves as an introduction to the fundamental concepts, techniques and principles on database and information systems design. It covers database systems, the nature of data, data association, data semantics and models. This will lead the students to design, build and maintain the structure of a database as well as apply normalization to data structures for an effective, stable database design and access data in a relational database using simple SQL queries.
