QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH METHOD - GENCOURSEGS 5-5 ED 702 (S 03:30PM-06:30PM)
The course is an introduction to many different types of quantitative research methods and data analyses including their theoretical/philosophical orientation. This course will be divided into two sections: 1) quantitative research designs, and 2) statistical techniques for analyzing quantitative data. The course focuses on processes such as defining research problems that lend themselves to applying appropriate quantitative research methods and statistical techniques. At the end of the course, students should be able to write a concept paper that demonstrates their skill in determining the appropriate research method and statistical technique given research a problem/topic for research.
