ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE - MASEBIO 5-1 SCI ED 703(S 12:00PM-03:00PM)

Environmental Science provides an integrated, quantitative, and interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental systems. It integrates physical, biological, and information sciences. As a result, substantive environmental laws requiring specific environmental protocols of the investigation emerged. It also made our citizens or the general public aware of a need for action in addressing environmental problems. In this course, students will be aware of the magnitude and complexity of environmental problems thus a need for creating rigorous, interdisciplinary training in environmental science. Included in this course is an actual practice on how to conduct an environmental impact assessment of different projects.
