This is an expanded course of various reference sources and services offered in libraries and information centers. It covers print resources for specific fields of study, non-print resources, special materials, special collection, and online reference services. Students are expected to propose a reference service delivered online.

The course enables students to apply practical work in the archival environment where concepts and theories are applied for identifying best practices in archives management as well as preservation of varied information sources vital to the archives and record centers. It also deals with, and engages in practical exercises on the basic processes of archival program and the administration of archives.
