This course aims to empower students to make informed decisions through effective and ethical data management, leveraging various artificial intelligence tools for sustainability. Using spreadsheet software, students will identify data sources, organize, clean, visualize, and create stories from datasets. Additionally, they will learn basic prompt engineering to enhance their data analytics skills with Artificial Intelligence. By the end of the course, students will develop an interactive dashboard using specific data sources relevant to sustainability.

This course provides students with sociolinguistic and psycholinguistic knowledge of the theoretical foundations, concepts, and principles of language learning and acquisition, which will influence their teaching of the four macro components of language and broaden their knowledge of relevant and emergent language research agenda. Culminating tasks such as lesson planning, demonstration teaching, research article critiquing, and research proposal writing enable students to demonstrate strong foundational knowledge in terms of formulation of language teaching-learning objectives, selection of content, development and evaluation of instructional materials, choice of methods and strategies, and assessment of language learning and skills.
