First Term

This course is designed to provide in-depth understanding of the foundations of Early Childhood Education. Through lectures and in-depth discussions, this course will explore the historical, philosophical, theoretical foundations, introduction of legal bases, ECD frameworks, standards, and programs of ECE in the Philippines. Students are expected to develop their personal teaching philosophy regarding their beliefs on the role of ECE teachers in molding young children.
